what if I have cs but don't have hl1?

My question is the 1 above. acctualy i do have hl1 but because of my stupid friend who used my cd key 2 create an account in steam and then forgot the password so i can't use it in steam.

I heared i can install the mod in the cs folder so i tried 2 do that and after i finished installing the game it directed me 2 a hl1 buy page.

So my question is WHAT can I do 2 play this game?!

You can play it if you have CS Retail by using the cd-key that came with that.

that CD-key unlocks HL1 aswell as CS1.6

Yeah but i play cs through the cd key of cz and when i put the cd key there it tells me that i'm already using that cd key.

If you can help me with this situation so can you please direct me 2 a version which is for wan and not for steam(sorry for being such a whiny noob).

Everybody thank you very much 2 bad you couldn't help me with my problem so I decided to buy a new copy of hl1 because I realy want 2 play this game in my country it costs 25$ but if this game is good as everybody else say and good as it looks so it worths it.
