a few problems

hi guys

1: i have the same prblem DBZDUDE747 has but i use 1.2.3 so whats the problem,maybe because steam doesn't find esp,i mean at THIRD PARTY i can't press ESP and i did register my CD-KEY succesfully.
and i started the games one time,and also if i join a normaly server the games get stuck it won't get further at the server load screen ?????????

2: It says VALIDATING GAME RESOURCES and then the game wont go further i can;t press cancel

YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM THE SERVER.
REASON:TIMED OUT

what can i do about thi

1: i dont really understand you, but did you make sure that you
1) installed halflife
2) installed steam
3) ran half life so steam knows where half life is
4) restarted steam (to be sure it works)
5) installed esf

if you didnt do this i suggest reinstalling everything

2: as far as i know, timed out means that your internet couldnt connect with the server, could be me being wrong, but try again later

maybe but it is at al the servers i try to join,and then if i press CTRL ALT DEL,the com goes back to windows and says HALF-LIFE DOES NOT RESPOND
i will try to reinstall everything

try doing something like this at console then try to connect
i think it was like fs_precaching 1 or was it fs_precache 1
if either doesnt work den pres fs_ den press tab n should automaticly have one of these fs_prec something, this can help u go get into a server in one try cuz i tried it in dod wen it froze at the loading screen

are you sure your fire wall is not blocking the connection?
