.dll differs from servers

i downloaded the 1.2.3 version of ESF and it still says my .dll differs from the server, wtf?

well it depends on the version the server has

maby you are just triing to join a server whit a difrent version than 1.2.3

you probably tryed to enter an EVM server. All EVM servers has corona-bytes in title.

nope if you enter a EVM server you get a lot of files to download
and dont forget about the ascend zone its a coroba-bytes server whit ESF 1.2.3 but your start PL is set to trans PL

i created a decicated server and when i try to connect it says the .dll differ wtf i made thing

Do you have Steam (www.steampowered.com) and Half-Life 1.1.1.0 (www.planethalflife.com)?

yeh i got em both i didnt install using cd i d/led from steam cuz i got an account

wud uninstallin hl n installin again wif esf make a diff or wud that jus be a waste of time cuz i reinstalled esf didnt make a diff

but the problem is that you cant play on your own dedicated server unless you have a difrent account for it od something like that

1 question what ESF installer did you use, the full 1.2.3 or 1.2 and than the patches?

I figured out the prob i replaced the client.dll in dedicated server with the one in the halflife/esf folder

my one says it cant load the client.dll when i try to create a lan game.....can someone help me pls....i downloaded to full versions....and still didnt work...

i got the same problem so i installed the game once more and then re - install the patcehs. install them in correct order and then try again
