My ESF used to work but not any more :(

My ESF used to work fine but now when i go to play it says: Your Earth Special Forces Executable is out of date it needs to be updated would you like to search the internet for updates. I clicked yes then it says it need to be updated but there are no updates available?

i've got the 1.1.1.0 version of half life and 1.2.3 version of ESF.

Wats wrong?

You're using WON. Download and install Steam, it replaced WON.

i downloaded steam but the microsoft error comes up where you click dont send then i try to get into it again and it says u can only have one copy of steam ruunning at a time

then close steam via taskmanager so that u can start steam again

steam is now working but ESF still isn't
