Just a quick question

Does 1.2.3 require HL1 to be installed? cause I lost my HL copy while moving, then I reformated, and don't have it anymore, just got everything back up, but anyway, Can I run 1.2.3 with just Steam? if someone could help me out that would be "peachy"? o_o lol

you need hl installed ON steam.
if you still have your cdkey you can download hl1 though steam aswell.
