I'm quite new to this site and game.

I've tried to install the game several times now and it hasn't worked yet

Probably because I did something wrong, I always do these things in a rush because I'm so excited about the game and don't read any manuals or anything like that lol

I've played Bid For Power before and I'm really eager to see how ESF compares.

Well I found out why the game wouldn't work.

I didn't have HL1 installed but HL2.

Anyway, I have the Game Of The Year edition of HL1 but back when I bought that I made a steam account. Now I got HL2 apparently I made a new account and I can't remember what username/password/email I used on the old account.

I guess there's really no way of deleting that old account and putting HL GOTY edition on my new account is there...?

If that's the case... I won't be able to play ESF unless I'd buy another copy of HL1.

OMG did I get owned by steam... :\

What does a copy of HL1 cost nowadays anyway... if they are still around I mean... lol
