Anybody getting this problem?

when i try to play esf/steam, it takes about 5 mins but then it quits and tells me that steam could not connect, either due to my connection (which seems to be working fine) or down to the steam network... ive uninstalled and reinstalled steam, nothing's working, i dont understand :'(... wtf is going on

Is it steam or esf? did you try starting steam without any game shortcuts?

yeah, its just not working, i asked a friend to try out my ID and he can sign in with no problem -_-

i switched off my firewalla now it's working, but i dont understand i havent changed any of my program permissions, and i kinda need my firewall >_>

are you sure your firewall didnt reset it to blocking? i had that last time too, then i noticed that my steam was blocked from internet, so i had to put it on allow again, and it worked.

its on allow for all options... im wondering if someone else's logon on this computer might have effected it >_>? is that possible

Did it happen after a steam update? Also, what firewall(s) are you using?
