Problems :( PLEASE READ.

I'm not sure why this happens but when i enter ANY server this will appear.

cannot continue with out script events/meleesounds.sc

Is there anything i frogot to do and YES i did install the main thing and all the patched and this appears so. So can somone please tell me what i need to do.

make a folder called events in your esf directory and put an empty file called meleesounds.sc into it and the problem is gone ^^

Okay it still comes up with that message what else do i need to do. If i cant get this to work could somone send me there events/meleesounds.sc folder since i apparently can't get mine to work.

Go to your ESF directory in Steam/SteamApps/Your E-Mail/Half-Life/ESF/ find your events folder, if you don't have one create it. And in that folder, create a new blank textfile called meleesounds and be sure to save it as .sc

if you're using notepad to create the file:

save as
select all files and just name it meleesounds.sc

Okay i saved it as a .sc file with notepad so do i need to add anything in it?

no, just leave it blank

Don't forget when you type in the name, to select "all files" and name it meleesounds.sc

Okay i did that and it still says it can't continue.Eerrrrrrr...

what icon does the file you created have?

It has the one where you select a program from the list to open it with. You know what im talking about.

Yes i had to make a events folder then i opend up a notepad document and saved it in there as meleesounds.sc

umm wow, I have a question. Why is that file needed if its just a blank file?

Well, It has only happened to me once, all I did was get a diffrent installer to do the installation.

"Events" and "events" is not always the same though...

esf folders are case sensitive.

So i need to use a captial E? Okay if so then let me try and get back to you. One more thing as well when i connect to some servers it will say fatal error and that my cell4 model is version 2431741 something like that when it should be 30 how can i fix that as well? Okay nvm on the capital E thing i've tried everything and still the same message. Okay now im getting it as my veggeto model as well! O_O
