Help! Would esf run on...

Hey guys, would ESF run on say, retail counterstrike? or dod? or Source? whatever teh hell that is.

not source, nor anything to do with half life2.
It should run on retail counterstrike and dod though.

hey guys, i know no1 is probably lookinga t this thread, but PLEASE i need another answer, do you guys think it would work on Counterstrike: Condition Zero. considering it uses the half-life engine ... any takers on my problem? Comsidering i need access to steam

As far as I know, only half-life and Counter-Strike retail will work for ESF. I don't know about DOD, and condition zero does NOT work. HL2 does NOT work with esf either.

Counter strike: condition zero will NOT work with ESF, if that is all you have.
You need either counter strike retail, DOD, or the original halflife.

What? I play ESF with Condition Zero when mine Steam is screwed! Just put esf folder in CZ main folder. Then it should work.

You MUST have halflife installed to play ESF, and condition zero alone does not have this.

I have condition zero, but when I go into my steam menu I can also get half life and counter strike. so... try installing half life through steam and then install ESF to half life?
