I've never really enjoyed any of the budokai games for more than 5 minutes (if at all), but I love the DMC games, so that's what I choose.

I think they said it was caused by a steam update, and that they are waiting for steam to fix it. I might be remembering incorrectly, however.

Does it always stall? Or does it only stall when you're testing skins/bots/maps? Also, are you running the patch? Servers seem to continually crash since updating to the 1.2.1 patch, but I don't think anyone knows what's causing it yet.

It means that the server is running a different version of the game you are trying to play. For example, if you have ESF 1.2.1, and try to join a server running ESF 1.2, you will get that error.

Can your friend connect to the "master server" and view the server list for half-life/counter-strike or other half-life mods? Or does this only occur with ESF?

So what you're saying is that you think the esf beams should appear more like larger versions of piccolo's special beam cannon? I think they're fine the way they are.

Here's a thought though...would players really stop dead in their tracks if they see a symbol indicating a player is temporarily paralyzed? Or would it encourage them to attack with more speed/power?

He means having a type of symbol appear over your player model's head (like the diamond) that allows other users to see when you are typing a message.

esf_island is a good map. I enjoyed playing on it, though it did crush my fps. I hope it comes out well.:)

Cell Junior would kick the crap out of frieza. The Z Fighters were wrecked by the cell junior's when cell unleashed them. Not one of the Z fighters (other than gohan) managed to defeat any of the cell juniors I don't believe, and relied on gohan going ssj2 to defeat them all. This occured when...

I haven't figured this out either. However, the way I get around this is when I'm in my listenserver, i got to console and type restart;maxplayers "6" and that seems to work. (I think that's the right order..) Anyway, if it doesn't work, just try changing it up or something.

You put way too much thought into this, lol. It is not difficult at all to do the double hit, so a "easier" way is quite useless IMO. Once you get it for the first time, you should be able to do it just about every opportunity you get.

You can do that with all the characters.
