You could give the Fire Emblem series a try. The fourth and fifth titles have a decent amount of plot. They're SRPG's though, so I'm not sure how much you'll like them.

There's no definite answer. Toriyama had very little involvement in GT, doing odd bits of artwork. There was no manga for it either, it was an anime-only series - much like the movies. One way or the other, it doesn't matter, the decision not to include any GT/movie material has been made... and...

Games rarely last that long, and the bonus would be tiny. Transforming gives you enough of an edge over players who just joined, stacking on more bonuses would be silly.

I agree that the current learning curve does not help new players. Whilst it makes sense for better players to have a upper hand, right now, it's very easy for someone to destroy someone slightly worse than them. Final hopes to make things more intuitive, so it's easier for new players to figure...
